이번 프로젝트는 슈즈 브랜드 킨치(KINCHI)의 '무신사 무진장' 프로모션 영상입니다.

"익숙한 멋, 새로운 편안함"
킨치는 클래식한 구두에 현대적인 디자인과 편안함을 더해, 지금의 라이프스타일에 맞게 재해석하는 브랜드입니다. 격식은 지키되 하루 종일 신어도 편안한 구두, 킨치는 이 조화를 '뉴클래식'이라 부릅니다.

이번 영상은 제품을 나열하기보다, 한 편의 영화처럼 킨치의 편안함을 기억에 남기는 데 집중했습니다. 크리스마스 장식이 반짝이는 클래식한 호텔 로비에서 백발의 컨시어지가 주인공에게 킨치 박스를 건네고, 주인공은 묵직한 분위기 속에서 구두를 신고 복도를 걸어 나갑니다. 진지한 누아르 무드 위에 영어 대사를 재치 있게 비틀어 옮긴 한글 자막을 얹어, 긴장감과 웃음이 동시에 터지는 반전을 만들었습니다.

색감은 오래된 필름 사진을 연상시키는 따뜻한 빈티지 톤으로 설계했습니다. 짙은 원목 패널과 황동 조명, 샹들리에의 은은한 빛, 주인공의 붉은 셔츠가 어우러져 클래식한 분위기를 완성하고, 햇살 아래 아스팔트를 딛는 블랙 더비 슈즈 클로즈업으로 제품의 존재감을 또렷하게 담았습니다.

This project is a promotional film for shoe brand KINCHI's 'MUSINSA Mujinjang' sale campaign.

"Familiar style, new comfort"
KINCHI reinterprets classic dress shoes for today's lifestyle, adding modern design and comfort. Shoes that keep their formality yet stay comfortable all day long — KINCHI calls this balance 'New Classic.'

Rather than simply listing products, this film focuses on making KINCHI's comfort memorable, like a scene from a movie. In a classic hotel lobby glittering with Christmas decorations, a silver-haired concierge hands a KINCHI box to the protagonist, who then puts on the shoes and walks down the hallway in a heavy, tense atmosphere. Over this serious noir mood, we layered Korean subtitles that playfully twist the English lines, creating a twist where tension and laughter burst at the same time.

The color palette was designed in a warm vintage tone reminiscent of old film photographs. Dark wood paneling, brass lighting, the soft glow of chandeliers, and the protagonist's red shirt come together to complete the classic atmosphere, while a close-up of black derby shoes stepping onto sunlit asphalt captures the product's presence with clarity.
